In an effort to reinforce water safety messages and to train City employees on emergency response at the city pools, the Goodyear Police and Fire departments assisted in the annual emergency response drill at Goodyear Municipal Pool. The purpose of this training is to review the protocol and procedures when an emergency event occurs.

Getting involved is important to Goodyear Police Department. Community Services participated in Goodyear Reading Challenge Ice Cream Rewards.

Goodyear Police Department has assisted several surrounding agencies with apprehending bank robbery suspects, directing traffic and assisting with a fatal accident and search for burglary suspects. Goodyear Police Department has recently put out information regarding home burglaries in our most recent Community Newsletter - see "My Neighborhood" to sign up!
