Goodyear Connects provides an easy and fun way for residents to participate in shaping the future of Goodyear. The City launched Goodyear Connects to ensure that all residents have an opportunity to have their voice heard.

The City of Goodyear is seeking artwork that reflects the spirit, culture, and future of Goodyear. Goodyear artists may submit up to five images of 2D or 3D works of art for reproduction in the City of Goodyear publication called the Goodyear 2025 General Plan. The publication is the City’s vision for growth and development in Goodyear. The grand prize winner’s artwork will be featured on the cover of the Goodyear 2025 General Plan. Additional selected images will be used as chapter starters. The cover prize will be awarded $500 and the chapter starters will be awarded $100. The Entry deadline is November 8, 2013.

Goodyear 2025: Goodyear 2025 General Plan
The Goodyear 2025 General Plan will identify an overall vision for the community and provide a roadmap to get us there. This plan will include a wide range of topics including economic development, sustainability, parks, housing, transportation, and land use.
Transportation Master Plan
The Transportation Master Plan will set the stage for how we move throughout our community and connect to regional transportation systems. It will include strategies for transit, cars, trucks, bicycles and pedestrians as well as other transportation modes.
Parks and Recreation Master Plan
The Parks and Recreation Master Plan will set standards for parks, recreation facilities including fields, courts, and community centers as well as recreation programs. It will identify the types and location for parks and recreation facilities.
