How to Form a Neighborhood Association
Neighborhood associations or alliances are created to give neighborhoods a sense of identity. If a Homeowners' Association does not govern your community, you may be interested in our Neighborhood Association Tool Kit. This packet offers tips and basics for organizing a group of homes as small as a city block or as large as an entire neighborhood. Just follow the step-by-step instructions in the tool kit and you will be on your way to ensuring the long-term vitality of your neighborhood. Neighborhood Services staff, at 623-882-7812, is available to assist you with the process.
NAs and HOAs that register annually with the City will receive the Neighborhood Connections quarterly newsletter plus e-mail updates detailing important Goodyear events, community news, safety tips and helpful hints. To register your neighborhood with the City of Goodyear, download and complete the registration form.
Community and HOA Meetings
Neighborhood Services staff maintains a full schedule of attending homeowner association meetings, as well as facilitating and coordinating neighborhood meetings. We use these meetings to deal with issues in neighborhoods. This is a very effective way of connecting with residents, and building the bridgework that is necessary to maintain a good relationship with our citizens. To find out the dates and times of your neighborhood meetings, please call Neighborhood Services at 623-882-7801.
