Police Community Services Division

What we do

The Community Services Division strives to reach out to members of the community through several community oriented programs and services, including the Citizen Police Academy, the Community Services Unit, PD Volunteer program, Neighborhood Watch, Teen Academy and by participating in several Community Events. The Department participates in several activities involving the Special Olympics, Shop With a Cop, G.A.I.N., Health Fairs, Safety events and deploy McGruff to events upon request. Community Services gets neighborhoods started with Neighborhood Watch, is available to Home Owners Associations and all types of groups and businesses requesting safety tactics and crime information.
