6.1 (13-5059) 1) Council adopted Resolution 13-1562 authorizing the City to enter into Agreement #13-2614 with Maricopa County and various cities and towns of this county in order for the City of Goodyear to receive $7,948 in grant funds from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program and authorize the City Manager to execute all documents related to this application.
2) Council approved a budget transfer of $7,948 from the grant contingency account to the Police Supplies account #713-2110-421-61-26.
6.2 (13-5065) Council approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a Reimbursement Agreement for Special Public Improvement Cost Recovery Regional Wastewater Trunk Lines with Centex Homes, a Nevada General Partnership, providing for the reimbursement of costs incurred to construct certain of the Special Public Improvements identified in Cost Recovery Resolution of Intention No. 06-1065 and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to carry out the intent of the agreement.
7.1 (13-5055) 1) Council approved a request to amend the Sarival Village Final Planned Area Development (PAD) to change the land use designation from Mixed Use Commercial) to Residential (S.F. 5.0 dwelling units per acre) for 6.4 acres located at the southwest corner of Lower Buckeye Parkway and 161st Lane.
2. Council adopted Ordinance No. 13-1286 amending the Sarival Village Final Planned Area Development (PAD), as conditionally approved by Ordinance No. 98-603, and conditionally rezoning approximately 6.4 acres generally located at the southwest corner of Lower Buckeye Parkway and 161st Lane from mixed use (Commercial) to Residential (S.F. 5.0 dwelling units per acre); adopting Supplementary Zoning Map No. 13-03A; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
7.2 (13-5061) 1) Council amended the Goodyear Planned Regional Center Final Planned Area Development (PAD) to allow an assisted living facility on a portion of Parcel 12 designated for court homes.
2. Council adopted Ordinance No. 13-1283 amending the Goodyear Planned Regional Center Final Planned Area Development to allow an assisted living facility on the southerly 5.13 acres of Parcel 12 designated for court homes located at the northeast corner of Pebblecreek Parkway and Virginia Avenue; amending the zoning map of the City of Goodyear; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
7.3 (13-4995) Council adopted Ordinance 13-1282 levying upon the assessed valuation of the property within the City of Goodyear, subject to primary and secondary taxation a certain sum upon each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of valuation sufficient to raise the amounts estimated to be required in the annual budget for the purpose of paying for various expenses; to raise the amount estimated to be received from other sources of revenues; providing funds for various bond redemptions, for the purpose of paying principal and interest upon bonded indebtedness; all for Fiscal Year ending the 30th day of June, 2014.
7.4 (13-5068) Council adopted Resolution 13-1563 approving and authorizing and directing execution of an amended & restated development agreement regarding development of a 160 acre parcel generally located at the northwest corner of Lower Buckeye Rd. and Citrus Road within the City of Goodyear (Pradera); providing authorization and direction to take actions and execute documents necessary to carry out intent of Resolution and Agreement; and providing for an effective date.
