Goodyear Police Secure Scene of Possible Drop House

GOODYEAR, Ariz. – At 12:36 p.m. Goodyear Police were called to the scene of a possible drop house in the area of 158th Ave. and Yuma in Goodyear, suspected in human and drug smuggling. The house is secure and there was heavy police presence to ensure the safety of the neighborhood. Goodyear Fire Department was also on scene as a precaution, although there were no injuries reported. Five males in their early 20s, who are believed to be undocumented, have been detained. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been called out to assist with the investigation. A search warrant is in the process of being obtained.
