Goodyear Ballpark launches new website
Goodyear Ballpark officials have launched a new Internet website to provide more detailed information about the ballpark and the two teams that call Goodyear their spring training home – the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians.
The website – www.goodyearbp.com now is online. It was launched as Goodyear is set to celebrate the 5-year anniversary of the park.
Visitors to the site can get spring training news, event information and tickets for the season which opens at 1:05 p.m. on February 22 between the Reds and Indians. The site also provides information about sponsorships, scheduling a game-day wedding and directions to the park.
The site will offer real-time weather reports, lists hours for the Team Shop and information about how to rent a suite during a game. Starting lineup also will be posted on game days.
“It is the one-stop shop for Spring Training information at Goodyear Ballpark,” said Debbie Diveney, the ballpark’s operations supervisor.
“We wanted a really dynamic site,” Diveney said, noting it will offer fans the ballpark’s latest FaceBook and Twitter feeds, event calendar and even the day’s starting lineups.”
Combined, the Reds and Indians are scheduled to play 34 games during the 2013 spring training season starting Feb. 22 through March 30 with tickets ranging in price from $8 for the lawn to $30 for all-inclusive right field pavilion seats.
Diveney added of the site, “It will be our most valuable marketing tool. We will be updating it regularly.”
