Goodyear’s Website Shows Map

With Streets Under Construction

(GOODYEAR, AZ) – With just a click on the homepage of Goodyear’s website – www.goodyearaz.gov – you can see a map showing streets in Goodyear under construction that could have a negative affect on traffic flow. The map will be updated at the beginning of each month.

The best way to reach the map is to click on “Construction Map” in the center of the homepage under the heading Road Closure/Restrictions.  You can also get to the map by clicking the other choice under that same heading – Road Closure Update, which will list the map on the page’s menu.

The Road Closure Update lists the latest major road restrictions by location.  It primarily lists construction projects on arterial roads or of long duration. Information on the page includes the location and dates of the construction project and the reason for the lane restriction or road closure. This feature has been on the website for about six months.

With a city growing as fast as Goodyear, there are always roads under construction. Both the road construction map and road construction project listings on the City’s website are available so residents can go on-line and check each day to see if they need to find an alternate route to their destination due to street construction.
