Goodyear Balloon & Air Spectacular Brings Thrill-Packed Three Days
(GOODYEAR, AZ) It’s almost mind-boggling all there is to do at the Goodyear Balloon and Air Spectacular on Friday, Oct. 20, Saturday, Oct. 21 and Sunday Oct. 22 at the Phoenix Goodyear Airport on Litchfield Road, just north of MC 85. There is something for people of all ages at all hours of the day. It’s fascinating to just walk among the balloons in the mornings before they lift off. You can talk to their pilots and chase crews as they slowly inflate the gigantic balloons.
In the afternoons, you will marvel at the daring, precision flying of the US Blue Angels as well as watching vintage WW II warbirds from many countries. Climb in and look around aircraft in static displays on the ground. Then you can see the balloons again in the evenings as they light up like giant light bulbs against the night sky – a kaleidoscope of color followed by a fabulous fireworks display and night pyro acrobatic flights that leave colorful streaks crisscrossing the night sky. Talk to WW II ace, listen to music, take your kids on kiddie rides, bring a large appetite for the wide array of foods. You will fill your days with excitement at the Goodyear and Air Spectacular!
