Business registration renewals are free—
But there’s a penalty for skipping the process
GOODYEAR, AZ – Business registration permits are mandatory in the city of Goodyear, and free for the asking. But doing business without a permit can carry a $250 penalty.
All current business registration permits expire Dec. 31 and must be renewed annually. Businesses that are currently registered with the city of Goodyear can expect to receive annual renewal notices in the mail by Dec. 1.
Business permits can be renewed by mail or online at www.goodyearaz.gov.
Businesses with no changes to report need only verify the business information requested in the online form or provided in the renewal notice, along with the registrant’s name and phone number. If renewing by mail, simply sign and return the notice in the envelope provided. Current registrants no longer in business are asked to notify the city of Goodyear of their change in status so they can be removed from the request-for-renewal list.
