Flamenco guitar master performs at PebbleCreek

Tickets selling fast for February show

 

GOODYEAR, AZ – Savor the passion of Spain in a soul-stirring evening of flamenco music with guitar master Chris Burton Jácome and the Chris Burton Jácome Ensemble. The concert is open to the public and begins at 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22, at the PebbleCreek Renaissance Theater, 16222 W. Clubhouse Dr., Goodyear.

 

Valley musician and composer Chris Burton Jácome began playing guitar in 1986 and has studied with acclaimed teachers, including Miguel Aragón, Manolo Franco, Juan del Gastor, Juan Amador and Cristo “El Francés.” Jacome also performs onstage with CALO FLAMENCO: Ballet de Martín Gaxiola, the largest flamenco group in the United States, and can be heard on the Emmy award-winning PBS special, “Flamenco.” The Chris Burton Jácome Ensemble includes Adrian Goldenthal on bass guitar, Kris Hill on percussion and Olivia Rojas as vocalist.

 

Enjoy the fiery rhythms and passionate melodies of this intimate Southern Spanish art form.
