“Starting Your Own Business” class
GOODYEAR, AZ – There’s so much to know about launching your new business and becoming your own boss. Starting Your Own Small Business is a six-week class offered by the city of Goodyear. Learn about licenses and registrations, payroll systems, and business income taxes.
This class is for individuals ages 18 and older who have not yet started a business, and for those who have been in operation for less than one year and would like to write or update a business action plan. Participants will analyze their expectations of business ownership, explore the feasibility of new business ideas, research potential markets for their products or services, and evaluate profitability. Course topics include choosing a business name and location, start-up costs, marketing, business income taxes, insurance needs, and licensing and registration. Taught by Peggy Jelinic. Enrollment minimum-5; maximum-20.
