Hula classes in Goodyear
GOODYEAR, AZ – Aloha! Come and learn the six basic steps of Hula. You’ll practice the graceful movements of this traditional Hawaiian dance, using your lovely hula hands and swaying hips to describe a song.
Hula’s gentle movements offer a total body workout. You’ll see speedy improvements in flexibility, strength, endurance and stamina. This is a great way to enjoy exercise while indulging your inner dancer.
Separate classes for adults and for children ages 5 and up. Eight weeks. Five students minimum; 12 maximum. Offered by Marlou Lamblack.
When: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (Children ages 5 and up)
6:45 to 7:45 p.m. (Adults, 18 and up)
Thursdays, March 13 to May 8
Where: Goodyear Community Center
