Tuesday, April 8 Brainstorming Session, All-America City Award
Residents and employees of the City of Goodyear, come to an open brainstorming session at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 8 in City Hall, Room 117, 190 N. Litchfield Rd.
Bring your best ideas for persuasively presenting the “best of” the I-10 widening, recruitment of the universities, and skate board park problem-solving. Goodyear is one of 17 finalists for this award, which is presented by “real” people, not city officials. We need to come up with a 10-minute, tech-free program to be presented in June in Tampa, Florida. Powerpoint, video and electronic presentations are strictly forbidden. High-end audio tools are not allowed, but use of a “boom box” is permitted. The entire presentation is limited to low-tech devices such as pictures, props, people, narration and music. Creativity is a must. Get your creative juices flowing and join in a new kind of collaborative civic exercise. Bring your best ideas for persuasively presenting the “best of” the I-10 widening, recruitment of the universities, and skate board park problem-solving.
