Lankford and Associates to design Goodyear City Center
GOODYEAR, AZ – Lankford and Associates (Goodyear Civic Center Developers, LLC) is the City of Goodyear’s first choice to design the new City Center to be built in 2010.
Goodyear issued a Notice of Intent to Enter Into Negotiations and Award a Contract today, naming San Diego-based Lankford and Associates as the top designer. The commercial property development company was founded in 1982 and has branch offices in Sacramento, California, and Denver, Colorado.
Pizzuti, an Ohio-based company, was ranked as city’s the second choice.
Laguna Pacific was ranked third. The company is headquartered in Irvine, California, and has offices in Scottsdale, Ariz., as well.
Goodyear will be negotiating only with Lankford and Associates at this time. If these contract negotiations are successful and the contract is awarded to Lankford, Pizzuti and Laguna Pacific will each receive stipends of $50,000 to help offset the expense of submitting the highly detailed proposals requested by Goodyear.
Goodyear’s new City Center will be built on the northeast corner of Estrella Parkway and Yuma Road.
