Do you have a good Goodyear story you can share?

GOODYEAR, AZ – As a finalist in the 2008 All-America City Award competition, a Goodyear delegation must make a 10-minute presentation to judges at the National Civic League in Tampa on June 4-6. The presentation will focus on the three projects highlighted in the application that citizens wrote and submitted: 1) the early widening of I-10, 2) the recruitment of private universities to Goodyear, and 3) the resolution of problems at the Skate Park between BMX riders and skate boarders. The presentation will emphasize how these projects have or will improve the lives of Goodyear residents.

If the lives of you or your spouse or children have, or are expected to, benefit from these projects, the All-America City (AAC) Committee would really appreciate hearing your story. The key to winning the competition is public involvement and presenting meaningful, sincere information about the projects and their importance to our residents.

So, if you have a story to share, please e-mail it to: Be sure to include your phone number in case we need to contact you. The AAC Committee thanks you in advance for helping them create a winning presentation.
