Goodyear presents top country and blues bands in the Fall Concert Series
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The city of Goodyear presents two top-billed bands in the upcoming Fall Concert Series.
Shows are free and begin at 6:30 p.m. at Goodyear Community Park, 3151 N. Litchfield Road. Bands perform on the outdoor stage at the amphitheatre. Bring the family, lawn chairs and coolers for a delightful evening under the stars.
Friday, September 19 – Rondavous
Rondavous, one of the top country bands in the Valley, entertains with high energy and dynamic harmonies. The band has shared the stage with Phil Vassar, Teri Clark, Diamond Rio, Craig Morgan, and Emerson Drive. They’ve opened on side stages for George Strait, Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry, Keith Urban, etc.
Friday, September 26 – Gypsy’s Juke Rockers
This crowd-pleasing blues band is one of Arizona’s favorites. Gypsy’s Juke Rockers recently released their new CD, “Real Bad Woman.” The band has appeared at The Experience Festival, The 25th Gibson Jazz & Blues Festival, The Tempe Insight Fiesta Bowl New Years Eve Block Party, PF Chang’s Rock & Roll Marathon, and most recently, the Freeport Blues Festival in Austin, Texas. Featuring harmonica and vocals, the band’s sound is sweet and sultry, reminiscent of Billie Holiday with a touch of Big Mama Thorton. The mellow vocals, soulful guitar licks and a smooth sound is as entertaining to watch as it is to listen to.
