Volunteer list opens for Goodyear Ballpark’s 2010
spring training season
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Sept. 12, 2008 – The City of Goodyear is compiling a list of individuals
interested in volunteering to help out during Goodyear Ballpark Spring Training

Office support and guest assistance
to Cactus League Baseball activities, Goodyear Ballpark and Sports Complex will
host year-round community events such as youth, amateur, high school and
college baseball tournaments, holiday festivals, arts and crafts shows,
corporate events, concerts and more.
The ballpark itself
seats more than 10,000 guests and features a 360-degree concourse with a
constant field view, six luxury suites, several party and group pavilions, club
seating and spacious lawn seating.
Indians relocated their spring training operations to Goodyear this year, and
make their Cactus League spring training game debut in 2009. The Cincinnati
Reds will break ground on their new spring training facility later this year
and will join the Cactus League for the 2010 spring training season.
