But there’s a $250 penalty for
skipping the process
GOODYEAR, AZ – (Nov. 13, 2008) – Business registration permits are mandatory in the
city of Goodyear, and free for the asking. Doing business without a permit,
however, carries a $250 penalty.
All current business
registration permits expire Dec. 31 and must be renewed annually. Businesses that
are currently registered with the city of Goodyear can expect to receive annual
renewal notices in the mail by Dec. 1.
Business permits can be
renewed by mail or online at www.goodyearaz.gov.
Businesses with no changes to
report can simply verify their business information online or submit it in the
renewal notice received by mail, along with the registrant’s name and phone
number. If renewing by mail, just sign and return the notice in the envelope
provided. Current registrants no longer in business are asked to notify the
city of Goodyear of their change in status so they can be removed from the
