Indians’ Intrasquad Charity Game

1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24


GOODYEAR, ARIZ. (Feb. 23, 2009) – The Cleveland Indians step onto the brand new fields of their spring training home at Goodyear Ballpark for an Intrasquad Charity Exhibition Game on Tuesday, February 24. The first pitch of the game will be thrown at 1:05 p.m. Gates open 11:30 a.m. at Goodyear Ballpark and Recreation Complex, 1933 S. Ballpark Way, Goodyear, Ariz.

Admission is just $5. All seating is general admission, first-come, first-served. There is no assigned or reserved seating for this game. Parking is $5 per vehicle, including all autos and RVs. Proceeds will be donated to local Goodyear charities.

Come early for best parking and seating. Check out the Kid Zone for wiffleball. Adults and youngsters will enjoy inflatable games and activities like pitching and batting. Sample your favorite ballpark fare, including hot dogs, pizza, nachos and local taste treats.

Tickets and sponsorship packages are available for advance purchase at the Goodyear Ballpark Box Office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The Team Shop is now open for business, featuring T-shirts, hats, souvenirs and other Tribe merchandise.

Goodyear Ballpark and Recreational Complex is located at 1933 S. Ballpark Way, Goodyear, Arizona, just 20 miles west of downtown Phoenix.

Directions: From Interstate 10, take Estrella Parkway exit and go south 2 miles. The ballpark is located just south of Yuma Road on the south side of Estrella Parkway.
