And the Emmy® goes to...Goodyear's Leading Edge promo video
GOODYEAR, ARIZ. (Oct. 16, 2011) Goodyear's Leading Edge video won the Emmy® Award for Government Programs, Segments and Specials. The award was presented by the National Academy of Television Sciences and Arts, Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown on Saturday, October 15, 2011. Emmy® Awards for the Leading Edge Video went to director, producer and writer Nora Fascenelli, videographers Jim Escobedo and Travis Johnson, and animator Alex Kohli. Goodyear's Media Relations and Public Information Officer Nora Fascenelli attended the Emmy Ceremony and accepted the awards on behalf of the entire video production team.
The three-minute video was created by the Goodyear Economic Development Department and was a key element in the Leading Edge promotional campaign. Earlier this year, the Leading Edge campaign won five other prestigious honors, including two 3CMA Silver Circle Awards, an Award of Excellence, and two awards from the International Economic Development Council.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is dedicated to excellence in television and honors exceptional work with the prestigious Emmy® Award. It is the only professional association representing television professionals from all disciplines of the industry, and advances the art and science of television. The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter serves the five-state region that includes Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and El Centro, California.
