6.B. (12-4792) Council approved a request from Christy Schragel, representing Gigino's, LLC, for a person and location transfer Series 07 liquor license, #07070181 for Gigino's, located at 3810 S. Estrella Parkway, Suite 309.
7.A. (12-4777) Council adopted Ordinance 12-1255 amending the Palm Valley Phase V Planned Area Development (PAD) zoning, as conditionally approved by Ordinance No. 2003-858, conditionally rezoning approximately 6.6 acres generally located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Indian School Road and Wigwam Boulevard to allow an assisted living facility (congregate care facility) with the modification of certain C-1 District Development Standards to allow an increase in maximum building height from 30 to 50 feet and a reduction in the parking standards from 0.75 to 0.65 spaces per unit; adopting Supplementary Zoning Map No. 11-03; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
7.B. (12-4801) Council authorized staff to initiate annexation of the County right-of-way for Cotton Lane from MC85 to the Southern Avenue alignment.
7.C. (12-4794) Council granted the appeal of North Subdivision neighborhood to proceed with the petition process for speed cushions on Via Villa Street.
Special Meeting Action:
5.A. Council authorized the Mayor to execute an employment agreement with Brian Dalke appointing him as Interim City Manager with full authority thereto for a term of 6 months with options to renew; incorporating goals and objectives established by the City Council; and providing for a 5% pay increase effective July 1, 2012 consistent with City policy for acting assignments, as well as any other compensation increases otherwise generally authorized by the Council for employees. A national search for the permanent City Manager will be undertaken at such a time as to coincide with the expiration of this agreement.
