Directions: Take I-10 to Dysart Road exit and go north; move immediately to the far left lane and turn west onto Cornerstone Blvd. Park on the south side of Cornerstone Boulevard.
City of Goodyear Mayor Jim Cavanaugh will be joined by members of the City Council and representatives from Valley Metro/RPTA and Nesbitt Construction to mark the start of construction on the Goodyear Regional Park and Ride lot, designed by the Phoenix office of Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc.
Partially funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the Goodyear Park and Ride is expected to take about six months to build and will feature more than 400 covered parking stalls, restrooms, bike lockers and other features.
